I am excited to share an idea that has been on my mind for many years. Six years ago, during the founding of Hexact, I considered tackling this issue but didn't move forward due to technological limitations at the time. I even registered the domain Hexoscope.com in anticipation of developing a solution.
To date, I haven't found a comprehensive tool that addresses this need—many of us manage this using different tools, extensive manual work, and miss opportunities as a result. Maintaining your business data—or your customers' data—across different online platforms is a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping consistent and accurate information—not to mention comparing with competitors.
The product I'm envisioning is a powerful platform where you input your business details—such as your business name, products, trademarks, domain names, social media profiles, addresses, and telephone numbers. The system then scrapes the web to find relevant information related to your core data points, identifies discrepancies, and alerts you to changes, new mentions, comments, reviews, or articles referencing your business. With the integration of AI, the possibilities extend even further. You'll have greater peace of mind with things more organized and discrepancies minimized.
While the initial version won't do everything from day one, it will significantly ease the management of your online presence. We foresee this product undergoing multiple evolutions and enhancements over time. Our goal is to continuously improve and adapt it to meet your needs in a rapidly changing digital landscape. We acknowledge that software evolves, and many products become obsolete over time—like CD players today—but since this product centers around your business data on the web, we believe it will remain relevant for a long time, providing you with tools to increase control over your online information and reputation.
The result is a centralized, up-to-date profile of your business's public data, accessible via a single URL that can be private or public, depending on your choice. It continuously monitors for changes, maintains a history of your data, and helps you manage your online reputation effectively. It's no secret that many of us have multiple projects, businesses, and initiatives that may be connected or independent of each other. This tool will make it easier to keep track of them all.
